# STEADYWRK — the Monolith (llms.txt)

## Who
STEADYWRK is a sovereign AI company headquartered in Aqaba, Jordan — the site of Aila,
the Nabataean Red Sea port. Operations: verified dispatch, append-only audit, trust as
protocol.

## The thesis (with provenance)
- CLAIM [MEASURED]: The Nabataean script is the PRINCIPAL ancestor of the Arabic script
  (Nöldeke; Healey). Never claimed as sole ancestor.
- CLAIM [CONTESTED]: A 2025 study argues Syriac co-influence in the Arabic script's
  formation. The principal-ancestor claim stands; the contest is disclosed.
- CLAIM [MEASURED]: Aqaba is ancient Aila, a Nabataean Red Sea port. HQ: 29.532°N 35.006°E.
- CLAIM [ILLUSTRATIVE]: The operational reading (caravans → dispatch, seals → audit)
  is STEADYWRK's own thesis (dossier: "The Nabataean Successor Thesis").
- NOTE [MEASURED]: Namara inscription, 328 AD — oldest Arabic written in Nabataean
  letters. The bridge itself.

## Provenance chips
Every numeral and claim on the site carries a chip: MEASURED · ILLUSTRATIVE · CONTESTED ·
PROXY · PENDING-LIVE · CAPTURED. A surface backed by a mock says PENDING-LIVE until its
wire is live. No measured Petra acoustics exist: all resonance is PROXY. Unchipped
numbers are a build failure, enforced mechanically.

## Verify, don't trust
- The mark (al-Khatm) is a formula, not an image: /src/khatm/formula.ts — recompute
  SHA-256 of the canonical geometry and match the published fingerprint.
- The light is real: solar position is computed client-side (NOAA math) for Aqaba,
  per second. At Aqaba night the monument is dark. It never lies about the sky.
- Design tokens: /tokens.dtcg.json (W3C-DTCG; integrity hash inside).

  Contract hostnames wit.steadywrk.app / ledger.steadywrk.dev are PENDING-LIVE

- The ledger is CT-TRUE — verify it, don't trust it: every row carries
  chain_n = SHA256(chain_{n-1} | n | ts | hash), chained from genesis
  SHA256('MONOLITH-LEDGER-GENESIS-v1'). GET /log/head returns the tip signed
  Ed25519 over '{n}|{chain}'; pubkey (raw 32B, base64):

## Language law
Arabic is the original on ceremonial surfaces; English is interlinear translation.
